Al Daimee

As the eldest of 3 children with deaf parents, I was thrust into adult-like responsibility at a very young age. My parents leaned on me for my command of English being Canadian-born. My father worked many years with long hours trying to make his Canadian dream of being self-employed in the printing industry, with the idea that I would grow up to take over the business. Dad inspired me to develop a mind for entrepreneurship and encouraged me to converse with his customers at the unripened age of 11 years old!

By university, my classmates would say I was a natural for sales due to my social skills and ability to develop a great connection with just about anybody. For seven years after graduating from Ryerson University, I enjoyed a successful career in printing and direct marketing sales. While successful, something was missing for me in B2B sales and the printing industry. As much as I enjoyed the people I worked with, I needed to feel that I was making a more meaningful impact.

My experience of buying my first home, a pre-construction condo, two years before I became a Realtor had quietly seeded an interest in real estate that grew quickly into the decision to make a bold career change. I knew it would be rewarding for me to help others find the same excitement that I felt when I bought my first condo in Downtown Toronto's King West neighbourhood. In late December 2005, I started my new career as a real estate professional. My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner!

In addition to being helpful and friendly, I am also very competitive and I love to win, especially at the negotiation table. This competitiveness has motivated me to excel in real estate, earning me a growing collection of awards and accomplishments that I am highly proud of. This is all thanks to the people who have put their trust in my experience and professional advice.
